
Since 2017 I have taught drawing and sculpture at the National Art School. In June 2025 I was appointed to the NAS Academic Board. I also teach in the Design programs at UNSW Art Design & Architecture, including the masters capstone project; and developed art and technology programs for dLux Media Arts and ARTeConnect. I am part of the ARTeConnect design teams that have been shortlisted for Paper on Skin 2020, World of Wearable Art (NZ, September 26 – October 13, 2019); created an interactive site activation work for Edge Ashfield for the Inner West Council (September 12-15, 2019); and that produced sARTorial (Vivid 2018, Museum of Contemporary Art; Vivid 2017 The Connection Rhodes; Sydney Fringe Pop up 2016). I was also the learning coordinator for the 2018 Biennale of Sydney (education resources).
Between 2008-2015 I taught at Suffolk New College, a University of the Arts London Centre of Excellence in the UK, and wrote and delivered curriculum across Higher and Further Education courses; I was a Lead External Moderator for the University of the Arts London Awarding Body (UALAB); and, wrote professional development frameworks, and (delivered as lead facilitator) UALAB teacher professional development workshops (Chelsea School of Art & Design). Topics included: working with photography across disciplines; drawing & research; and promoting high level student achievement and independent learning, among others.
In 2013 I gave a paper at University of the Arts London Chelsea School of Art & Design on engaging students with research in Art and Design teaching; and my specialist areas include interdisciplinary teaching in art and design, contextual and critical studies, graphics, sculpture and site specific art, drawing and photography, art and politics. During this time I have also worked extensively on equality and diversity curriculum, working with: LGBT young people; young people with disabilities; and young people excluded from mainstream education due to ill health & challenging behaviour.
I have taught previously at: Suffolk School of Arts University Campus Suffolk UK; Sydney College of the Arts and the Tin Sheds Art Workshops, University of Sydney; and in the School of Design, University of New South Wales.
